    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It helped me gain more in depth insights to the earth, the human body, and everything thing works on an microscopic level.

    Course highlights:

Dissecting the cat was very educationally beneficial to everyone in the class. It helps to see concepts you studied in a textbook in real life.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Spend at least several hours studying every week, even if you don't have a test. By going over your notes at the ned of the day and reading your textbook, you will have a better grasp on the concepts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely reccomend this class because it doesn't only benefit people who benefit on going into science in college! There are so many opportunities to discover different ways to learn and the class is filled with tons of interesting things. It's a great class for anyone who needs a science credit or wants to get one out of the way for college. I definitely reccomend taking it in high scholl because it's so much cheaper.

    Course highlights:

The highlight for me was just growing academically. It helped me learn how to study well and to plan out my studies. I also learned a lot about the body and body functions and even though I don't plan to go into biology it made me more aware of what goes in my body which I thought was really cool. Like I said, it's a super interesting class that teaches you a ton of different stuff that's applicable to all parts of your academic life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study. Study. This is probably the most obvious and important piece of advice. If you study your material and lay attention you'll do great. You just have to be willing to put in the work. This class is all about understanding so if you have a question, ask it early and get it answered. Everything builds on top of one another so it's crucial you don't get left behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a really interesting course, just really fast paced. However, that's to be expected when enrolling in an AP course.

    Course highlights:

It's a very fast-paced, in-depth biology course, to say the least. The most important concept was evolution, which was taught in the fall and again in the winter when the AP test was coming up.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study A LOT! Read the textbook, don't rely on the PowerPoints. And don't stress over a bad test grade, because getting a C+ is like getting a 3 on the AP exam.
