    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class offers a very thorough look into literature from vast periods of time, and has really helped focus my critical reading skills, and how I retain information.

    Course highlights:

Group discussions in this class our insightful. We often talk about controversial issues that are relevant in todays society. In this class I have learned to respectfully discuss philosophies that I may not agree with.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the work from the beginning of the year. Do not ever procrastinate, because the teacher will hand out more assignments before you are even done with the previous one. It is very easy to lose track of time and fall behind.

    Course Overview:

It's definitely a challenging course in the way of course load but well worth it, as it definitely prepares you for your future in college!

    Course highlights:

There is a LOT of reading and essays involved but also a lot of group work which is a nice break from the traditional English classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the work! A lot of the work is projects with due dates in the far future but staying on top and working, even for just half an hour or so throughout the day, will help immensely!
