Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Literature at Bartlesville High School was one of the most engaging and culturally interesting classes I participated in!

    Course highlights:

I wouldn't be able to write the essays that I'm writing today without this course's help. Not only did I learn about famous pieces and figures in Literature, I learned how to effectively craft essays.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed in any Literature class, you better make sure you're able to take Cornell notes like a pro. Additionally, scanning the text for meaning, whether it be an essay or a poem, is a critical skill to pick up. Meaning is everything in this class!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because Mrs. Viele pushes you to you limit and beyond, she makes you think in ways you never would think of.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much confidence in my essay writing skills throughout the year. Mrs. Viele was extremely helpful if you did not understand something and she made sure that your full potential shined through, she did not let you slack off.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed in this class you need to be sure to keep up with your work. This class does not wait for anyone and because it is an AP course you are already expected to be harder workers than the average student. If you do not understand something then you need to ask Mrs. Viele or another student, you need a good grasp on all of the material she is teaching you.
