    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it was taught extremely well and made me appreciate US History so much more than I thought I would.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the aspects of the great wars that I had never learned before and lots of background information on the beginning of America which to me was absolutely fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class you must do your work ahead of time and make sure to be proactive when it comes to your homework. There isn't a lot of it but what is assigned is extremely important and helpful in the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking US History with Mr. Wagner as you teacher. He is a great teacher, who coordinates and balances his class well with a very fair and lenient grading scale and balanced teaching system. To guarantee an A (95-100) is to take notes on all that is covered in class. Notes alone with a little extra credit allowed me to pass the class with a 102. No thats not a typo, a 102, but unfortunately the grading scale maxes out at 100.

    Course highlights:

It is in this class with Mr. Wagner, that I was able to retain the most information about the deep and complex story of America.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Notes. Notes. NOTES. I cannot stress this enough. You could do nothing and only do notes and get high grades on the tests and quizzes and this will be enough to carry you throughout the year and ultimately help you pass the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I’m not a history person - at all. I abhorred history classes until this one because I always thought they were boring. Ms. Good invigorated me and the class by mixing history, humor, and a hunger for knowledge. She is able to utilize different aspects in current events and tell a story with history. I find myself captivated in the course subject - furiously writing down notes but also laughing at her jokes. The subject is suddenly interesting and exciting when she teaches.

    Course highlights:

I not only learned about the history of the United States socially, economically, politically, and diplomatically, but also learned how question and interpret information outside of just history. I’m not the type of person that is drawn to learn about history. To be honest, it’s probably because I’m not good at memorizing so I struggle with the subject. I hadn’t gotten an A on a history test for a whole year before this course. But because of the way Ms. Good teaches, the information stuck in my head and I felt myself succeeding in history like I never had before.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it. It doesn't matter if you like history or not, you will feel compelled to like it because of these fantastic teachers. You will not regret it. The course load is not heavy because they understand that we all take many other classes, but you will learn so much in class that homework won't even really be necessary. Take it from a student who never liked history - it's worth it.
