    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a very enjoyable course and is very educational. This course is also challenging in the aspect that it moves very fast. There are 2-3 tests everyweek. If you you study every night and keep caught up on your work you will be fine.

    Course highlights:

The highlights from this course are the labs. My favorite lab so far has been a lab in which we figured out the rate of photosynthesis. We used spinach leaves, light and water to figure it out.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You can not pass this class without studying. You need to study every night. It is also very important that you study and actually LEARN the information because the class moves so fast.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's challenging but is taught well! If you put in the work you'll succeed

    Course highlights:

Time management is what I learned the most. I now know what I can and can't handle from an AP course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work the day you receive it. Don't push it off for another day.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to any student who has a passion for life science. Ms. Ritta is a wonderful teacher who is very knowledgeable about the material.

    Course highlights:

This course is very heavy on information. I learned about everything from individual plant cells to the specifics of each animal phyla. My favorite part was probably learning about how DNA is transcribed and translated.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're taking this course, make sure to study nightly. Cramming the day before the test isn't enough. If you practice a little bit every day and make sure you're keeping up with the notes, the tests are fine.
