Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Psychology with Mrs. Willems was one of the most rewarding experiences of my whole highschool career. She is an excellent teacher and truly cares for her students both inside and outside of class. She ensures that everyone understand the material which results in one of the highest pass rates at the school. Mrs. Willems does not hesitate to make time for her students and willingly engages with the classroom, making it a warm and friendly environment where everyone can be his/her true self.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class definitely includes a fieldtrip to the Dr. Phil show recording as well as the many interesting moveis and documentaries that she shows. Who know that there is so much psychology in Finding Nemo and Mean Girls?!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is extremely doable and anynone can get an A as long as you are willing to do the busy work and keep up with the homework and readings

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd highly recommend this course because the concepts you learn are extremely applicable to the real world and will help you to better understand why humans act the way we do. You definitely leave the class a more understanding and compassionate person.

    Course highlights:

We covered a variety of psychology concepts, from social psych to developmental psych, to the human brain and how it works, to the history of psychology as a science. It was actually really nice to go over all these different types because it helps you in deciding what type of psychological studies interest you the most.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the reading and if your textbook isn't making sense and your teacher's explanation isn't helping, look up the Crash Course videos on YouTube. They use pretty much the same exact terms my teacher and textbook used. When I watched a few of them for review it was almost word for word what my teacher told us.
