    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Beals is gone a lot, so we basically taught ourselves chemistry. Twas bad.

    Course highlights:

I did love the coffee lab we did! Roasting beans was by far the best part of that class

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you need help, find Khan Academy on Youtube. I'm pretty positive he does reviews for chemistry.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because she is a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to balance equations, and work with some chemicals in labs we did in class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate when it comes to finishing assignments. Always pay attention.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Beals is an amazing teacher and person. He wants to see you succeed and learn the material. While it can be challenging at times, there is a good balance to the class.

    Course highlights:

Starting with little to no knowledge of chemistry, I ended knowing the basics well. Stoichiometry was my personal favorite, but you will also learn the fundamentals of atom structure and chemical reactions. With lots of labs that provide hands on learning this course is very helpful for anyone even slightly interested in pursuing a science related field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice is to pay attention in class! Do assignments because they will help you learn the material. Finally, don't procrastinate! If there are long term assignments, it feels much better to have them done ahead of time.
