    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definetly reccomend this course due to the fact that so much is learned about the human body. Many of us believe we know how our own bodies function but this class has showed the magic behind the human body and the precise engineering that has abled us to accomplish our daily tasks.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I not only learned the basic aspects of the human body but I discovered the magic and defying arcitucture behind this structure we live with every day of our lives. What goes on 24/7 within our bodies as we go through our daily tasks. How every nerve in our body sends signals to our brain like lightening speed. The way our eyes and ears we take for granted every day is so delicately molded to give us optimal function.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study the material. While the human body is interesting in and of its self, there is a lot to memorize. Due to the fact that there is little grey area when it comes to facts about our body, memorization is key.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Throughout the four years of my high school career I can honestly say my Anatomy and Physiology class I took was my favorite. I have always had a interest in anatomy and this class taught me so much more than I expected. Even after being out of school for six years I can still name every bone in the human body, every muscle and all the systems. The teach Ms. Lapsley was one of my favorites, she made it so easy to soak in everything she was teaching. I highly recommend this class!

    Course highlights:

As stated above we learned the names and functions of all the human bones, muscles and systems. We did many dissections in this course as well. My personal favorite was a sheep eye ball. Seeing how an eye works from the inner section was amazing, gave a whole new perspective to how the body functions. I highly recommend this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you enjoy anatomy and learning about the way the body works, you should take this class. Even if you are not pursuing a career in this field, even if it is just a hobby or interest, do yourself a favor and take this course.
