Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As someone who loves to study the world and its people, this class incorporates essential history with current and important world-wide issues in the most perfect way. Every unit is entirely fascinating and I feel much more exposed to important topics such as agriculture, human migration, social issues, religion, and much more than give me the confidence to be a vocal and productive member of society.

    Course highlights:

I honestly took away more from AP Human Geo than almost any other class I've ever had. This class has kept me involved in current issues of all kinds and has given me an awareness and clear perspective of the world that I've never had, and it's made me feel completely empowered through knowledge. My favorite part of this class was how all the units intertwine with one another and understanding how geography, migration, religion, agriculture, social topics, and city development are all crucially related.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

What you put into this class you will get out of it, and as long as you participate and pay attention you will do great in this class! This is also a class that teaches you so much without having hours upon hours of homework!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course! It found it very interesting how this course ties into the real world. It showed me how places in the world work according to the people around it. I feel like this course would be very beneficial if you were looking to go into a business degree because it can show you the best places to invest your money.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course in my opinion would have to be when we were taught how the people can be used as a political advantage or disadvantage. I learned that where the people are clustered around the cities is where you want to put your main focus at in an election. The people are going to be your leg up in any sort of election and going to places that the people can relate to the issue you want to fix is the key. I found this interesting because it showed me how politics can relate to the businesses around me and most of the issues that it talked about were not for economic reasons.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to any student taking this course it that studying is the main key. You have to understand the basics to relate it to the real world, and without studying, this course would be very difficult.

On Fun Fridays, we look at funny material related to the unit we are currently studying. The agricultural unit was a highlight of the class because it it hits so close to home for everyone- we all eat and we all have different preferences. Another highlight was the discussions we had as a class, including our teacher. It was an interestzing way to dive deeper into course material and hear other points of view.
