    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a super interesting class, especially in this day and age. It starts off somewhat boringly but once you get past the old theorists, it's so much more interesting. The class offers a great critical view of popular culture and the ways in which it has been defined and changed.

    Course highlights:

The real world examples and analyses are definitely the most interesting part of the class! While these examples change each semester, they're actually very relevant and make for wonderfully interesting discussions. I actually enjoyed reading about some of the theorists and learned a lot about the origins of popular culture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings ahead of time as this will help you be more prepared for class. Also, watch the documentaries with friends! Your entire grade is based on two papers and two tests so definitely take your papers to office hours.
