    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Feminism is a lens through which one can view the world, and I learned how to combine my interest in feminism and literature. Before this class, I would thought feminism was just a policy for political and social issues. But then Professor Sanchez showed us that feminism comes up in every work, as long as you look for it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there is no hard-and-fast rule about any subject in literature. My classmates and I often differed greatly on our interpretation of the works. In those instances, however, it is best to listen and try to understand the other person's view.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember that it is a course that is open to students who are not English majors. It is a great way to dive into another field at Penn.
