The required reading was phenomenal. The course provided a decent foundation for sociological research and its relevance. Final projects afforded us with an opportunity to apply what we learned in class.
Designing a research project was the culmination of the course. I chose to analyze the intersection of race and politics as it related to political party affiliation in the United States. Conducting interviews and gathering research was conducive to understanding the concepts of the course. The professor allowed for significant class discussion and debate.
