Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Professor Rimmer is a dedicated teacher who takes the time to teach every aspect of the subject. I went to almost all of his office hours which helped me immensely. He has a knack for teaching difficult concepts in a simplified manner.
Course highlights:
The highlight of the course for me was reviewing integers. I also enjoyed the different jokes the professor told in class to lighten up the room in the morning. His office hour sessions were also a highlight of the course. Often times students from other Calculus courses (not taught by him) would show up to his office hours for tutoring and advice. The professor made the course fun.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Review your notes after every lecture. Attend his office hours! Make sure to go to every recitation. A quiz is given at the beginning of every recitation. Form a study group with other students in the class to do the problem sets and to prepare for the exams.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
