Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Looking back on my time at the University of Pennsylvania is bitter-sweet. My time spent at Penn was filled with social highs and academic lows. The students there are passionate, driven, and extremely intelligent.

    Course highlights:

While I experienced some disappointment as an undergrad, I ultimately learned how to thrive on my own and what practices (socially and academically) were best for me. I am grateful to have attended this prestigious university and would not have traded it for a thing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important thing I learned from Penn, though, is that you can't set your goals or measure your self-worth based on those around you. Each student at Penn is unique and to compare yourself to your peers at this institution is to set yourself up for failure.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

We have a great campus. We have ONE main walkway so you pass everyone between classes unlike a really big campus were you don't see your friends unless you plan on it.Our facilities are a mix of older and newer buildings.

    Course highlights:

All are maintained nicely. It would be nice if they air conditioned the indoor basketball court.A few weeks ago the Cosi Sandwich shop acrossed the street was robbed at gunpoint and far too many laptops and bikes are stolen. The college never had freshman sign or/and pledge any type of ethics agreement. They should.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Typical city atmosphere. UPENN is in West Philly and just past the university is a poor, dangerous neighborhood. The residents walk though campus to get to the city.Campus security for dorm access is strict and I am glad it is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Everyone is required to sign up for a meal plan freshman year, which is a pretty big rip off as the meals calculate to ~$14 each. People rarely continue dining plans afterward (at least full dining plans) except for the very lazy or busy.

    Course highlights:

There are several dining halls and the food is pretty good though...but most people like to eat from the food trucks and restaurants around campus, of which there is a plethora. Very diverse too.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Philly has a lot of great restaurants and of course the historic sites, but is not great for much else. Center city is a 20 minute walk away, but other than the high-end shops and restaurants and some cool bars, campus is the only place to hang out. There are however some great art museums-Philadelphia Museum of Art.
