    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    CIS121 is a hard course. Rajiv is always more than happy to help so definitely email him to meet if you are having any difficulties.

    Course highlights:

    This course is really important if you're looking for any software engineering internships. It will make you an experienced Java programmer

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    I would highly suggest taking a light courseload with it and spending as much time as possible doing well on the homeworks and really understanding the material

    Would recommend because it is applicable to software engineering and helps with technical interviews

    Course highlights:

    graph theory, data structure, algorithms, final project was creating a naive Twitter

    Take CIS 120 and CIS 160 first. Start assignments early.
