Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The urban atmosphere of Philadelphia has been a great transition for me coming from Chicago and allows for numerous options no matter what you are interested in doing. The Economics program at UPenn is world renowned and very rigorous.

    Course highlights:

Being in introductory courses there is not a lot of individual attention unless you seek it and the work is heavily math based.Penn's no-loan program is a blessing. It's the only reason I came here.I only just declared so I don't have much experience with the deparment

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I'm currently working towards an Environmental Studies major. The department is fantastic and the advisors are very friendly. There are plenty of options within the major for specializations and concentrations. I highly recommend it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Barnes Foundation, Rodin Museum, etc. It's a great walking city and Center City has some quaint neighborhoods that are nice to walk through, but anywhere West, South, or North of the campus is ghetto-ish.

    Course highlights:

The two main libraries on campus have printers, as do each of the on-campus dorms/apartment buildings. Each dorm and library also has a computer lab with ~20-30 computers, which are a mix of Macs and PCs. The wireless covers the whole campus and is secured.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely don't need your own printer, but it is very convenient to have your own laptop. Dorm computer labs always have spots open, but the library computers see a constant turnover of users.
