Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the class challenges me to strive to my greatest.

    Course highlights:

Novels. The discussions we had of the novels were at a new level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the novels carefully. Annotate.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course because of how much it helped me with the SAT and the ACT. We do so much AP multiple choice in this class, and the SAT and ACT English questions pale in comparison to the AP multiple choice question sets.

    Course highlights:

This course introduced you to the beauty of transcendentalist and naturalistic works. I learned how to write a proper and thorough research paper. This course also made me a better reader, meaning that I could read in between the lines better and understand the hidden and deeper meanings of the works and novels we read as part of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There was a ton of reading assigned in this course, and the most helpful advice I could give is to read thoroughly and don't be afraid to annotate in the book or ask questions because no question is stupid in English.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Amazing teacher who loves her subject. You learn a lot about writing and reading comprehension and gain a better understanding for English as a whole.

    Course highlights:

Daily grammar, analyzing books, writing papers. I learned to read better, comprehend books and literature better, write sentences well, and become a better writer.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do your homework and you'll be fine. Homework and work is key in that class, and doing it helps teach you how to survive in college.
