Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although I am still at a high school level, Ms. Chiova prepared us for college by treating us like adults. The class was one semester long and I learned the basics of college writing.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I learned how to correctly format an essay, proof read, and use my creative writing skills. We completed five portfolios in the amount of time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students preparing for this course should understand that they will have to do their work and not reply on others. This class is a college course and one will not be treated at the high school level.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Kujawa is a very fun and helpful teacher. She brings a lot of energy to the classroom. She provides her students with the tools they need to succeed in her class. She is very knowledgeable on writing and gives good feedback on the papers students have written. She has helped me become more organized and prepared for college courses.

    Course highlights:

The first portfolio we did as a class was definitely a high light. She really worked with students one on one and got to know our topics. She provided key points on how to improve our writing and expand our topics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate in this class. You should follow the calendar that she provides to you, so you do not fall behind on your work. Read all the materials she gives to you so you have a full understanding of the portfolio prompt. Use credible sources for your papers. Do not use Wikipedia as a source for any paper you right.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is taught at a very high level and moves at a quick pace. I would recommend this class to any student who needs to take a writing class.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me to be independent and work hard to meet specific deadlines.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell incoming students to get the work done as soon as it is assigned instead of procrastinating and putting it off. If you do this you will not write as good of papers and will likely turn your papers in late.
