Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a very interest subject and I feel as though it was a gateway for me to be more interested in other science topics.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understand of the way elements work and interact with eachother. In the process we got to do some pretty fun labs including popping our own popcorn by using chemical combustions!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Defiantly know the period table very well and understand all the components. Chemistry has a pretty good math base so make sure you practice and do all the homework because understanding it is key.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was extremely challenging and therefore challenged me to stay focused, spend countless hours studying, and remain organized. Although it was extremely hard, it allowed me to grow as a student both emotionally and academically.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the basics of chemistry as well as the applications it has to every day in our lives. I was able to conduct labs with little assistance, which forced my classmates and I to come up with solutions on our own. We also had time for fun and time for work. There was a great mix between challenging work and fun experiences. I learned more than I knew I was capable of and grew confidence through that process.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you stay focused and work your very hardest throughout the entire course. The problems and applications will become easier for you if you remain a dedicated student from beginning to end. Always go above and beyond when studying to assure that you know all of the material confidently and can plan out each step thoroughly.
