    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend all to take this course because the students are introduced and encouraged to read poetry and we have multiple in-class discussions on literature or life in general.

    Course highlights:

Open discussions are the highlight of this course along with projects. Projects and the introduction of new vocabulary are very crucial to the English-Language. I've learned a variety of new words and how to make a magazine.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate! Cramp gives assignments at least 2 weeks prior to the due date so please don't wait until the last minute to start. Also, actually read all the literature books assigned. It will be beneficial to all especially on the AP test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much in this class! You learn to write much better and read more into books. Mr. Macy is an excellent teacher, as well.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed reading the books. My writing, especially, has improved a great deal as well. I get lots of praise on my analysis essays now.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write and read a lot. If you don't prepare yourself for the work load, you'll not do well in the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me be able to analyze different reading materials such as poetry and novels. Theses skills can be used to see different readings in another way. In this class I also wrote different reports on various novels and authors.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was reading Frankenstein. This book showed me that there is more to a story than just one person's explantion. Also I learned that if a novel has a frame story it also means that you need to pay extra attention because there will be more characters to remember.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While reading anything take notes becuase if you look back at it later you need to remember what they were talking about without rereading everything. Taking notes also help to retain infomation for any tests or quizes that might follow. Make sure you can understand your notes aswell.
