Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

When I first went to English classes, I dreaded the lists of vocabulary and the hours of writing essays. This class taught me to think otherwise. I found a love for learning new ways of writing and then putting it to use. It made my own language a joy to work with.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I learned to write. It is as simple as that. The papers that originally took me many hours to finish ended up being done within 45 minutes. I found myself always having something to say and being confident about my abilities to say it. This class made it possible for me to effectively get my thoughts out on paper in a way that people could understand and enjoy it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, I recommend giving yourself plenty of time for the weekly essays. Each topic requires a solid amount of time invested, and waiting until the last second usually does not end well. Also, by paying attention to the different rhetorical strategies being taught through other writings, each student can improve their own as well.
