    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for ALL students, simply because it challenges you mentally, and offers new insights from your fellow students to amazing pieces of literature, such as "To Kill a Mocking Bird", "The Salem Witch Trials", and many more. There is an open, friendly environment for discussion, and the class greatly improves many skills involving literature.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be the practice regarding multiple choice analysis, the timed essay writing, and the open discussion on pieces of literature read in the class. You will learn how to better evaluate pieces of writing presented to you, logically analyze those pieces, and answer questions based on those pieces. You will also learn new definitions regarding literature, which will also help you better your essay writing skills. There is also open discussion within the class to promote and understand different insights regarding the same piece of work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to stay on top of their assignments, as well as stay updated with their reading assignments. I would also recommend students to diligently study, as well as having open communication to each other because they may help each other better understand the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course, simply because Mrs. Tubbs is an amazing teacher, and I walk out of the classroom feeling like I not only learned something, but also feeling like I can take on the world. She always challenges us and pushes us to think outside the box.

    Course highlights:

I am not yet finished with the course, but so far we have went in depth with Greek Tragedy, the Illiad, and Beowulf.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to think about if you're willing to read A LOT. With this being an AP Literature class we read a lot of heavy books, and we test over them.
