    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend AP US History to everyone because it is a college-level course, and it will most certainly prepare you for a higher level college history course. The class is difficult, and sometimes hard to understand, but you take away valuable information that helps you better understand the world today and why it is the way it is. It teaches you that procrastination is not something you should practice, and that hard work and dedication is needed in order to succeed.

    Course highlights:

So far I have learned about the early years of American life, and cultural diversity present in the early North American colonies in the 16th century. We also covered the Puritan lifestyle, and idealism presented in the Massachusetts colonies, and how this later caused the abandonment of Puritan concepts to pursue a more free and idealistic society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and make sure that you are dedicated to the course before enrolling. Procrastination isn't an option in this course because of the extreme work load. It is also very good to have control over your time management, in order to complete assignments on time and excel in the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class provided the splendid balance of rigorous labor and unfathomable benefits. Anyone who takes this class will come out knowing more about history and themselves which is the best thing any class could offer. I am grateful to have taken it the past two years.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the relief and post-AP-Exam celebrations. It was there that all the hard work paid off, and we were able to relax and embrace out accomplishments. I learned so much about the United States from the days of the Cherokees to "Hey, Hey LBJ, How many kids did you kill today?" to current politics. The information from AP US History will never be forgotten.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to manage their time wisely, and do not wait until last minute to do the assignments unless you want to cause great internal combustion from stress! Also, do not take too many AP classes if you have a packed schedule as it is, or else time management will become very hard.
