    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely informative. The material helps you understand many apparent themes that one would see in life. From Indoor Air Pollution to Ozone Depletion, everything to learn in that class will tell something about the world we live in. It's a hard course. It requires you to have extreme discipline in your studying efforts. Thoroughly examining the material and reviewing will help you understand more and more, as well as helping you narrow down to specific questions to ask your instructor. If your questions aren't specific, your instructor wont be that much help. You have to understand that he/she is probably teaching around 200 students the same material. So he/she may not have the time to sit down one-on-one to teach you the whole subject.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to study effectively in this course. I'm not a fan of science but I found myself liking the topics that we covered. I want to be a clothing designer, and the topic of recycling helped me realize that I can reuse fabrics and materials for the purpose of making new products.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study. FInd the most effective means of studying possible for you. You can't follow what other people are doing. You have to understand what you need for studying in order to pass each exam. Once you find your study method, you will see your grades begin to increase. You also have to be prepared to use "failure" to benefit yourself. Your first test grade could very likely be awful. Use it as an assessment for your studying methods.
