Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Personally, I thought the content we were learning was interesting so I didn't fall asleep in class so, in turn, I retained more information so I didn't have to study as long, It was mostly memorization and I'm not the best at that

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the human brain which was fun, there were some units that were more interesting than others like the unit about sleep and dreams

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your vocab terms really well and read the Barrons book

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a class that I would highly recommend because many misconceptions about social phenomenon could be easily debunked by science that is exposed in this class. It is extremely important to open up to different viewpoints and be able to learn a science that can be utilized in every day life. This class not only accomplishes the task of exposing students to different viewpoints but also enables them to think critically about controversial problems.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the intellectual discussions that we had in class. I was able to learn about different cultures and their values and how that plays a part in their interactions. I was also able to learn about social constructs and critically apply that to how we can improve our actions and interactions with others.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As a student that has taken this course, I would recommend future students to understand the definitions of vocabulary words and their real life applications rather than memorizing them. Studying in a group will also helps because it prompts discussion that will help you remember the content more efficiently. Also good time management is crucial because this course is AP and is rigorous, therefore, will need more time and effort to be dedicated to it.

I would recommend this class because it was a great introduction to chemistry. No background knowledge was required and the information was the information we learned was not extremely difficult. There was barely any homework and the tests were fairly easy when effort was put forth.

    Course highlights:

In Chemistry, I learned about the periodic table of elements, balancing equations, isotopes and ions, electron configuration. I also learned how to draw Lewis dot structures and Bohr models. I also learned about polarity, mole calculations, and stoichiometry.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, it is crucial to study for the tests and to do your homework. The workload for this course is not extremely heavy, and with the correct amount of effort, this course is very interesting and fun.
