    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is a wonderful person and keeps her class very engaging. She genuinely cares about her students and makes an effort to get to know them individually.

    Course highlights:

I would say you learn everything you need to know and more about the United States government, but it helps one be an informed voter.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go the the SI sessions! I'm serious. That is what made the difference and helped me get an A. I know its an insane amount of work for one class, but it is worth it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While I realize that this course is difficult for those who aren't as interested in it (I majored in Political Science), this is a comprehensive course that explains to you how our government works. You'll notice yourself paying more attention to the news and being more informed about what's going on in the world.

    Course highlights:

Mrs. Klein is passionate about the Constitution; she will use any metaphor she can to explain it to you. She often uses multiple illustrations or anecdotes to make sure that everyone in the class gets the gist of it. She is excellent at connecting her lectures to pop culture and current events, so you'll never be bored.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Depending on your major and international status, this may be a required course. Even if it isn't, take it. This information will connect to everything else you learn in college, and you'll become more aware of current issues. Mrs. Klein hosts several study sessions throughout the semester. Go to all of them; she wrote the test and she wants you to succeed.
