    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course allows students to increase their believe perseverance. There are so many subjects we speak on and learn. Mr. Bradshaw's class truly will make you think. Although the course is challenging, I would recommend it to any student willing to grow.

    Course highlights:

My highlight of every class is when we talk about social issues. In the class, everyone has an open mind. We all are open to new ideas on solutions for social issues. The discussions truly make you think. Even after class ends.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are sensitive, do not take this course. In this course, we talk about "touchy" subjects and we go in depth with them. But if you are not sensitive and willing to learn, take this course. You have to read the AP Psychology Review Book outside of school if you want to do well on this course. I am so glad I took this course. You would too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Bradshaw is an amazing and insightful teacher who introduces new learning methods. He is dedicated to helping the students fully comprehend the material adjusting to personal needs. The class introduces students to the brain and how it functions alongside the body. Class discussions include the topics of mental illness, social experiments, the justice system, and some anatomy!

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was diving into the subject of mental health. The classes discussed how our mind can be affected by childhood trauma, disease, and societal influences. Throughout the class, a consistent theme of acceptance and kindness was displayed. Psychology is not just about textbook definitions, it is also about our everyday actions and the affect we have on others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed in this course it is important that you seek help whenever needed. Learning certain vocabulary terms can be difficult, but as long as you are putting in study time outside of class you will do well. Dedicating a time to study afterschool for about 45 minutes should have you prepared for any assessments, classwork, or homework!
