    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the time it saves verses taking American History 1 and 2. AP United States history is an A-B day course so it takes up the class time of a semester course. On top of saving time, the course also intensely develops synthesis and writing skills, as well as gives students a great deal of information about the history of the United States.

    Course highlights:

I could definitely see an improvement in my writing from the beginning of the class to the end. We actively wrote essays about interesting time periods, which increased my knowledge of them as well as my ability to synthesize information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take the course. It is a hard class that deserves your dedication, you can't skip out on work. The end result, however, is amazing.
