    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Moore is a great teacher and he honestly prepares his students for taking a college level class. Though he has very strict rules, he truly loves his students and wants them to succeed. He is always willing to help and very enthusiastic in his classes to make his students want to learn more about Psychology.

    Course highlights:

A few highlights to this course is the conditioning project. It was a group project and it was really interesting. Though I am not a big fan of group projects it came together really well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! and ask questions if you do not understand a concept

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I very strongly recommend this class. You will learn so much about why people behave the way they do. Mr. Moore is also a fantastic teacher that everyone should definitely have.

    Course highlights:

Interestingly enough my favorite part of psychology was the section on biology. The thing I found most fascinating was that I learned that tiny amounts of chemicals in your brain can affect the way a person behaves, feels, and sees the world. For example, the chemical serotonin is responsible for making people feel happy. Just a tiny shift in a person's level of serotonin in the brain can cause depression.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise any student taking this course to do the reading! If you read the text book, take notes the way Mr. Moore tells you to, and review your notes, then you will do well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Psychology with Mr. Moore, could not have been more educational. Through excellent understanding of the material and a flawless interaction with the students in his class, Mr. Moore was able to keep every student engaged throughout even the longest class days and helped me gain understanding of the brain and it's mental processes.

    Course highlights:

The biology of the mind and the way we perceive things was definitely the highlight of this course. I gained an in depth knowledge of the process of the brain, the way we think, and memories.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A major key to success in this course is to keep up with the curriculum. The course requires reading daily to ensure you are prepared for Mr. Moore's daily quiz. This is motivation for most, however those who did not be consistent with their reading suffered in the long run.
