    This class was tough.

I have taken many, many American history courses and I have to say that this class gives you a really thorough understanding of the story of America. Mrs. Thompson does a fabulous job of explaining facts and events in stories that are easy to remember and connect to.

I gained a new perspective on the American Revolution.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the reading. If you don't, you'll fall behind really quickly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because he is a great teacher who is also very spirited. He also gives a refreshing take on how we perceive history.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was how we learned and the class discussion about different topics no matter how controversial. I also learned that everyone's opinion is different and even though sometimes peoples opinions are wrong, you have to respect it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't just take this course to get credits, but take is so you can learn how people think about different things.
