    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to a student considering this course will be stay focus and don't fall behind in your work. It's very hard to catch up with late work. When any test or quiz is coming up make sure you study because wil help a lot.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone that is interested in the general workings of the human mind. You will learn the many systems of the brain and how they are relative to other parts of the body. You'll learn about many psychologists and their theories. It definitely is a cool and intriguing course.

    Course highlights:

My favorite and most memorable part of the course was learning about our Circadian Rhythm and sleep cycles. It is really interesting how hard our bodies work while we are supposedly resting. We were able to track our dreams for a week and spent a class period deciphering the meanings of our dreams. Learning about social psychology and different group phenomenons was incredibly interesting as well, it makes you look at people and yourself differently.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook! It covers anything you may have missed in class. This class requires a lot of memorization of the parts of the brain, the names of psychologists, various theories and phenomenons, personality types, mental illnesses, etc. Flash cards come in handy. Also, try to apply what you learn in the class to real world situations, it makes everything even more interesting and further helps you memorize it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Would definitely recommend this course for students looking into majoring or minoring in psychology! Gives students a glimpse of what a college course is like.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was creating projects and doing everything on your own because in college no one is going to be doing your research paper for you!!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Turn in all work!!! Do it on time and stay ahead of the game. There is not much homework assigned but projects roll into work at home so technically you do get homework? :)
