Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course requires a lot but is definitely worth it. It makes you think and sometimes stretches your knowledge.

    Course highlights:

Learned a lot about women that are different from me. I didn't think it would be that hard because I'm a woman, but it definitely goes into a lot of cross-cultural issues.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! It is a really good course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

When I first signed up for this class, I only picked it because I needed extra credits. I came in expecting it to be a very feminism based class. But I was SO wrong. This class gave me some great insight in the similarities and differences between men and women.

    Course highlights:

This class taught about the similarities and differences between men and women. I was surprised to learn that most research shows that there are very few differences between men and women, even though most people think there are. The topic of Intersectionality was also a major part of the class. Intersectionality is a way of viewing race, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, etc. in a combination and how people have intersecting aspects to them, such as an asian woman, or a Black gay man. It teaches us to view how disadvantages that these people have are different from the White male.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the book. The teacher only posts study guides sometimes, so the book can help in making your own study guide. Also, GO TO CLASS. Technically, attendance is not mandatory. However, there are 7 surprise writing assignments throughout the semester that make up 15% of your grade.
