Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is required for all engineers entering into FAMU or FSU engineering program, and it is bad. At other schools, they introduce you to jet engineers or wind turbines, however in this course, the closest thing to engineering you get is putting PVC pipes together and make water flow about 10 feet.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to pay attention to detail considering on our exam we were tested on the color of the clothing of presenters from the beginning of the semester.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This course is not that hard, however, she will try to make you fail. She will try hiding assignments on the website, or incorrectly give a due date so that you miss projects, or even not uploading an assignment until 2 hours before it is due. She even messed up final grades for multiple students. My advice is to get another professor, but if that is not possible, pay attention to detail and always, ALWAYS look online for assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course especially with this professor due to the fact that it prepares a student for the engineering program very well. This teacher is very interactive and knows what she is talking about. She knows what info and behavior she wants from her students and will get it.

    Course highlights:

We did many projects that dealt with hands on engineering majors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay updated on every assignment and project. Their due dates tend to sneak up on students.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course if you are an engineering major. Dr. Moore is a harsh grader and very strict when it comes to the syllabus and her instructions. If you have a phobia against group projects, then you won't have the best time in this course.

    Course highlights:

You get to make a lot of friends and connections with like minded students in the same major as you. It is a pretty easy course, so make sure you take it seriously or you will fall behind and be lost. You learn about the college of engineering, engineering majors, and all things that go towards making a great engineer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take it seriously. It is easy to fall behind even though it is just one credit.
