    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very enlightening to learn about the inequalities and oppression in our society. Awareness is the first step to making a radical change. Professor Close helps his student's understand how and why black males are oppressed. Not only America's history, but also areas in modern day society that are not easily perceived if you are not living life as a minority.

    Course highlights:

In this class I learned how to relate more to people who are different than myself. I learned of my own sad, challenging, biases. This class can really help you gain perspective if you allow it to.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise reading and reviewing all of the articles, texts, and videos used in this class. Professor Close does not ask simplistic multiple choice questions on his test. He wants you to truly understand underlying terms and causes.
