This class was tough.
Besides it usually being a required course, it's a great way to reinforce the concepts that you've learned in lecture by seeing physical examples of theories and concepts. Some of the experiments you do in the lab are pretty cool as well, and are fun to do.
The highlights were that I was able to see subject matter that I might be confused about in action. I would say I'm a visual learner so doing the Chemistry lab helped me to reinforce what I was learning in my lecture. Even if you still didn't get it, the TA was happy to answer questions which helped me to have a good time in the lab and make sure I was getting the most out of it. It was tough in terms of writing lab reports every week, but it was a good experience because if you're going to be doing any research, you will need to write a report at some point.

Advice for students:
Always start doing the lab reports earlier because, depending on the lab, they can take a lot longer than you think. If I had started my labs reports a while before they were due, I would have probably gotten better grades on them. This is because I would have had time to make sure that all my data, calculations, etc. were in my lab. At the end of the day, you get the most points marked off for not including some form of data or calculation.
