This class was tough.
I would recommend this course mostly because it's usually a requirement. Take advantage of the Chemistry Help Room. The TAs are there to help you, not ruin your grade like some may think. Some TAs expect a lot more than others, so make sure you communicate with them from the start to make sure you're doing everything they want you to do.
It was a lot of fun doing the experiments in this class. The prelab, lab reports, and lab procedures that are due each week are kind of a pain in the butt. However, if you start on them early in the week, you'll have plenty of time to get help and understand what you need to do.
Hours per week:
Advice for students:
Start on your assignments as early as possible. Also, don't try to speed through the experiment. Most experiments don't take three hours long anyways and you end up getting out early. If you rush through to get out even earlier, you might miss something important or screw up on your lab. This will make you screw up on your lab report that's graded!
