Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was challenging and really fun. It made me both a better writer and a better reader. It taught me to look for small details and realize how much weight all these tiny things hold when creating a work of fiction. Sindu really challenged me to keep working on my projects. Young writers will learn a ton from experiencing a workshop environment, too. It was honestly one of the best classes I've ever taken.

    Course highlights:

Writing workshops really taught me what my strengths were with writing and how to use them best. At the same time, though, I was also made aware of my weaknesses, but what helped was that Sindu and even other classmates had ways to combat my weaker points -- to work on them and keep practicing so that those weaknesses might even become some of my other strengths in writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read. Read everything you're assigned, and read it carefully and critically. Take your time with it if you can. And definitely find times during the week that you will sit down and write for at least an hour. Pick at least three times a week. Treat it like a workout at the gym.
