Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I absolutely loved this course. It was really interesting to me, not only learning about the details of the music I grew up listening to, but also the music my parents were raised on. We talked a lot about what influence music had on the culture at the time and vice versa. It opened my eyes to a lot of concepts I had never considered about history, primarily in the United States and Europe, simply through music.
This course was extremely interesting. It was very easy to pay attention in class because this professor is an outstanding guy. You can tell he really loves what he does, and the assignments he gives are relatively simple as long as you come to class and review his power points. Over all a great class I think every college student should take - definitely helps with United States history as well if that's something you're interested in or struggle with.

Advice for students:
Definitely come to class. That would be my main priority. Additionally, he gives you extra credit just for going to concerts and writing a small summary, so I'd definitely take advantage of that. I finished the class with over 100% simply because I stayed up to date with my work and attended multiple concerts. Lastly, stay updated on blackboard. He posts most of his lectures there in case you missed something or needed a review.
