Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My class had over 100 students, and I could have benefited from a smaller class because of my struggles in math, but my professor was great with one on ones and being available for help. If you know you might struggle in a class, I would recommend to check if your college/university offers the same course but with less students so you could get more in depth explanations and help.

    Course highlights:

We learned how algebra applies to real world issues, but to fully understand the topic, I did go to office hours and my peers. The highlights were definitely the extra credit assignments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study groups will be your best friends!! I promise you that other people also have questions to ask and things that they're unsure of, but it can be intimidating to ask a question in a class with over 100 students, so don't be afraid to reach out the professor one on one or with the students sitting next to you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although it is an algebra course that requires immaculate attendance and close attention to course material, it is efficient in teaching students.

    Course highlights:

Besides the basic objectives taught in college algebra, this course aided me in teaching myself how to efficiently learn math in ways that I am able to fully understand the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Maintaining attendance and keeping clear, concise notes will greatly aid you when finals come around. Don't be afraid to partake in the help sessions provided by the professor.
