Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a really interesting course for people who may be considering to double major or minor in biology, as it covers a lot of material related to neuroscience and the biology of the brain.

    Course highlights:

This class is basically an introduction into how the brain works. All of the main functions of each part of the brain are covered, as well as what can happen when these parts fail or degenerate. We also learned about how the brain transmits signals that produce movement, sight, and hearing, among other things, and which neurotransmitters are important for these functions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study little bits at a time. The course material is really manageable if you review your notes after each lecture. The study questions at the end of each powerpoint are a huge help, and if you put the time into completing them you will be really well-prepared for all exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The only professor you should take for this class. I've heard horror stories about others.

Neuroscience heavy. You'll know more about the brain then you did before.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the questions Dr. Johnson gives you.
