    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because although it is difficult, Mr. Dodaro is a very helpful professor who genuinely cares about his students.

    Course highlights:

I have learned a lot from this course. Taking business calculus was helpful for my major and skipped over all the trigonometry I wouldn't have needed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students taking this course to visit Mr. Dodaro during office hours. If you're ever confused, visit your teacher and the free tutoring sessions he informs you of.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a business major, this class is a prerequisite; however, I’d still recommend it to anyone. Calculus might seem scary but even the professor himself said the class is 90% algebra. You don’t really need the book, but you do need to go to class- missing even one class will put you behind. As long as you go and you try, you’ll do well. Professor Dodaro is really kind and does a great job of explaining things.

    Course highlights:

I’ve learned some of the building blocks for business in this class. Even though math isn’t my favorite thing ever, this class was enjoyable because the professor is super charismatic and helpful. The most important thing I learned had to be “algebraic manipulation!” (If you take the class- you’ll get it)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! It’s easy to fall behind if you don’t show up. I’m all about getting my sleep, but you don’t want to miss it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dodaro is an awesome profesor and he makes calculus less scary and more engaging.

    Course highlights:

The main points of the course are learning how to do derrivatives for the first half and all the rules that they must follow and then antiderrivitives and their subsequent rules.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class every day, if possible, and study as often as possible because everything builds on itself so if you get lost and never really learn a topic it will come back to haunt you later on in the course.
