Always Do the Reading
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course was very insightful on the lives that African Americans have lived through in the United States. The professor made sure to make this course interesting by playing music from the years we learned about, and showing us some examples to help us better understand the topic.
I learned a lot about the migration and slavery of African Americans. In textbooks throughout elementary through high school, it was more of an overview about what happened, but this course really went in depth.

I would have to say that it's a must to go to every class. There is no textbook, so everything you learn is from the slides that she gives. It's also important to read the readings that are posted online when they're assigned.
