Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
Taking STA 2023 was one of the best decisions I ever made. Because it is mandatory for many students and also fulfills multiple requirements, I was surprised at how easy it was. Attendance was somewhat optional, however, if you were there during days we did activities, you got 100% put in the grade book. There were only 4 exams and the study guides mirrored them perfectly. Love this professor.

This math course covered the basics of statistics and helped me understand probabilities, populations, samples, and much more concepts a lot better. Allowing us to use a full sheet of paper on the exams helped me learn the material completely and aided in my success in the course.

Advice for students:
Show up to class every day because you never know when he will give an activity. When it comes to exams, copy down the study guide and how to solve each problem on your sheet of notebook paper so you can just use it to ace every exam.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.

You MUST go to class. The professor will take attendance in the form of questions (iClicker) at the beginning of the course. Since it is a pre-req, the class is large and if you need help you must go to office hours.
