    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a really interesting class. You learn about history from a different perspective than what the history books tell. The class is also pretty easy

    Course highlights:

You learn about how nationality, race, and ethnicity played a role in the history of the United States. It's a different view of history compared to what we learned all of our lives.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to go to class because it is lecture based. The midterm was easy. Just go to class. Attendance is taken on Fridays.

Be sure to go to class and write literally everything she says in her lectures.

    Course highlights:

Very animated professor that makes the class interesting and engaging

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just continually read over your notes. Take very detailed notes because exam questions are a little difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in the early history of America and who is open-minded and willing to see the beginnings of this country through the eyes of immigrants. It is a "slit your wrist" kind of course, as Pam would say, but it is very eye opening and interesting every lecture. Dr. Robbins is a great professor and makes the classroom light even though the topics discussed are so heavy on the heart. Go to all her lectures and you should be fine in this class.

    Course highlights:

It was very eye opening to look at the history of America from a different perspective, very different then you are taught in high school U.S. history, You'll learn a lot more about society in general than you would think and this course even helped me change my mindset for the better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every lecture and take advantage of office hours.
