Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course Itself is mandatory for FSU students but if you take it with Jack Winston, do not underestimate the amount of work you will get. I went in thinking the class would be simple and was surprised with what we got.You will be learning how to work Microsoft programs (word and excel) and how computers work in general.

    Course highlights:

I liked learning how to work Microsoft programs. Its fun-- and important-- to know how to use all of the tools we are given in Excel and Word, so working on this has been a pleasure.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just stay on top of all of the deadlines and assignments and the class will be a piece of cake.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very rude and strictly followed the PowerPoint, which was posted online. That made it pointless to go to class and even if you did go you left feeling as if you had wasted your time. The required reading for the class did very little to help learn how to use different types of applications (Excel for example) and more so talked about different parts of programming, storage in a computer, and social media.

    Course highlights:

Granted, this course did briefly go over Excel and Word Documents but not enough to make anyone proficient. From a "Computer Fluency" course I expected to learn more than I did.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Personally, I would take it online. All of the lectures and assignments are online anyways. Therefore if I had to take it again I would not waste my time going to an actual class for the course every week when there is no need.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I really liked the computer and the different types of technology that was taught to me.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge in the technological world and how it affects us in many ways. I also learned new types of technology that I never knew about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don’t do the assignments last minute. They are time consuming.
