    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I didn't feel like I learned anything from this class. I didn't learn any techniques to identify rhetorical analysis.

    Course highlights:

I learned what rhetoric was and how it contributes to everyday life

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions on anything that you're confused about

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is very passionate about teaching his class which makes it even more entertaining to be there because he actually cares about the material being taught. Typically, most mandatory books to read for school are really dull and majority of students aren't interested in them so they use SparkNotes or something of the sort but most of the books assigned to be read in this class are actually enjoyable and are great for discussing in class.

    Course highlights:

I will definitely remember the novel, Native Son, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who would wants another novel to read. This class definitely made me a better essay writer and helped me to better understand poetry as well as the craft in literature.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To anyone wanting to take this course, I would say that you should actually READ whatever assignment the teacher is giving out. It sounds like obvious advice but thoroughly reading assignments is the best way to get a good grade because Mr. Taylor is constantly saying that the answer can always be found in the text. Also, ask any questions that you have on the literature even if it sounds crazy. Chances are, it'll start a new discussion that no one has ever thought of before and will intrigue even the teacher.
