Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I recommend it because the class gives you real life experiences when it comes to building and designing projects, and it also teaches you the way mechanics work and how a lot of today's advanced technology, isn't really so advanced.
Highlights of the class were when we developed a toy train in autodesk inventor, we actually designed each piece and put it together. As well as when we developed a construction made entirely of news papers, that supported up to 4 people in the class. These projects helped me learn how to work in a group along with how to design for any intended failure possible.

Advice for students:
All you need to succeed is a good attitude, decent math skill, and the will to learn new things. You have to be able to learn from your mistakes and improve them on the spot. You have to be able to take criticism from others and make your weak areas, strong ones.
