Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because if you like English, you'll like this class. You are really social and your opinion is always heard and respected. So there is a sense of maturity being taught in the class.

    Course highlights:

I'm able to learn more about the students and environment I'm in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need an open mind to succeed. She never chooses an assignment topic for us. So we have to know what we stand for and figure out what we're passionate about.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very fun class, and Mr. Arizmendez is a smart, funny, and helpful teacher. He never gives out more work than needed and all of the books we read in the class are super interesting.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about political discourse and dystopian society when we read the books 1984 and Brave New World, both really good books. We also learned about different world cultures in some of his lessons.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get on his bad side because he gets mad pretty easy and will probably kick you out of the class. Make sure you have all of your own supplies too, he doesn't like lazy people.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it simply because it's a challenge, it's not too difficult, as long as you stay on top of your work at a steady pace.

    Course highlights:

One thing that stuck out to me was character archetypes. Now that I have this knowledge, I am able to use it in a practical manner when identifying characteristics of characters in a book.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take little things such as vocabulary for granted. It's bad to do an assignment just for the sake of the test. You should actually learn it and apply what you learn in daily life.
