Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it goes at a significantly faster pace than honors or regular classes do. So, you are constantly learning something new about poetry and writing styles. If you love to read a wide variety of novels I would really consider you taking this class since we read book ranging from Slaughterhouse Five to Pride and Prejudice.

    Course highlights:

By taking this class it has prepared me for college classes from the fast pace to the length of our essays. The highlights of this class were the open discussions about the books we were reading. Seeing how other people interpret the same book that everyone else is reading is interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although the class is not difficult, you do get quiet a bit of work. So it would not be advisable to leave everything until the last minute. Even if you think you are able to procrastinate until a day or two before the assignment is due it would make the class a lot easier to start and get the assignment done as soon as it is assigned.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My teacher is very thorough with her explanations and understands that her class is not the only one a student takes. She is not extremely strict with her rules, but she also does not let students walk all over her. The classroom environment is very warm, and the week is always planned. You can tell she really enjoys her job and loves her students.

    Course highlights:

I love going through poetry for our warm up. It is a great way for me to open my mind and reminds me to read between the lines.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be involved in discussions and do not be afraid to speak your mind.
