Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She's an amazing teacher and you get to read books from such beautifully amazing authors! However, it's a lot of work and there is no such thing as procrastination in her class. No late work either. Her class really teaches you to take responsibility for yourself and to get work done with scheduled deadlines. Out of the classes, I've taken Mrs Smiths has really prepared me for college.

    Course highlights:

My favourite part about this course was probably reading the Crucible. It's such an interesting topic that I have particularly interested in for years. I learned a lot about the time period and the mindset that everybody in Salem was in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I could give to anyone interested in taking Honors English is to be sure that you enjoy reading and that you enjoy writing because that's all your year is going to be. It does pay off, however! There's nothing more satisfying than getting an A on an essay that you spent days on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this class and this is the best teacher possible to teach it, even though it is considered a "difficult class." As long as you put the effort forth to have a good grade in that class, there is no way you cannot succeed. I highly highly recommend. I hate english and writing and this is almost my favorite class with definitely my favorite teacher. Please be in this class, there is not one person in it that dislikes it.

    Course highlights:

Everything. Teaching is A+++++. Papers are much easier to write with the guidance and teaching of Ms. Muniz. She makes all instructions clear and makes all lessons enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you want a good grade and put effort forth, there is a way to have a very good grade. I dont like writing even a little bit but I have a grade of 108% in that class and its a college class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The way the teacher helps students, her attitude towards the course, and her participation in the class are all factors that make this an amazing course. This class has improved my writing skills immensely and has expanded my thoughts about writing.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course I learned many different techniques for writing and I have been taught to use many skills and techniques that I was previously not allowed to use in English classes. The teachers attitude and class participation in arguments and discussions are some that I will never forget because although we were learning, we had a ton of fun doing so.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to take this course, which I recommend, don't be afraid to ask the teacher for help, her comments and corrections on your writing will make you a much better writer and will give you the skills to write anything in life.
