Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms.Harp is an amazing teacher. She makes sure that we understand everything before we move on. She demonstrates everything more than once: on paper and in person. We are taught how to do everything ourselves and have a lot of hands on activities.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of my course is learning how to properly examine a patient with a possible concussion. We ere taught every part of the examination, and the reason why that specific test must be performed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure your notes are very organized, and easy to read. Always write down more than what's on the board. Ms. Harp will most likely always draw something very important on the board. She will explain each part and walk you throught everything.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This 4-year course challenges both a student's mindset and aspirations. If you're into the realm of Healthcare/Nursing, this is definitely the course to be in. It teaches a wide range of skills from Vital Signs and using medical equipment to find them to the section in the brain that was the reason why you got so moody last week. This definitely a course I would recommend!

    Course highlights:

I've really gained a lot from this course. My highlights was understanding and learning the underlying detail of everyday things. Not only that, but forcing yourself to apply what you've learned in the form of dissections. Sheep brain, Cow eye, Chicken wing, all of them serving a purpose to help you apply the information you learned for each system. It's not a course you can pass without learning and putting effort in - so know what you're signing up for!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Fill-in the blank notes are constant (with breaks for labs, games, etc. in between). So for the most part, you will have to comprehend a new concept everyday. I highly suggest studying the notes you take everyday for 10 minutes to keep the memory fresh. Not only this but making sure you get enough sleep to digest this information the night before! If you do this, all you would do is have to review on the day of the test - which is usually taken after 2 weeks of notes.

Material is thorough yet fulfilling and with some studying, you will master the field of medicine.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course seriously and make sure you study.
